Yes, that is Cass Cain and Jason Todd.  Sketched this out many years ago…(I think after the Teen Titans East fiasco, hence why I drew her with long hair and why she looks very different from my more recent pictures. ^^; But yeah, I was attempting a more realistic style.

If I recall correctly, I was prompted to draw Cass and Jason with handcuffs.  Back then, both were outcasts in the Bat family (this was before Outsiders). So I imagined they met up in civilian clothes, went out and got drunk, instigated some bar fights and crashed some rave parties and just basically didn’t give a fuck and ended up in jail with other drunk ass party revelers without revealing their identities. For some reason they ended up in the same cell and Jason was being belligerent until Cass sat herself in his lap and attempted to shut him up/strangle him with her handcuffs.  

At least that’s the story I used to explain why Jason’s torso is all beat up without a shirt and Cass’s got messy bed hair. And he’s not feeling her very toned butt up, no, he’s just trying to make sure she don’t fall off his lap and hurt herself since she’s totally smashed.  Misfits have to watch out for each other, ya see. 

Gaah, this picture is soo old! And soo messy. But I just don’t have the heart to clean it and ink it. For some weird reason I like it this way…hrm.
